Personal profile:Zunji Shi currently works at State Key Laboratory of Herbage Improvement and Grassland Agro-ecosystems, Center for Grassland Microbiome, College of Pastoral Agriculture Science and Technology, Lanzhou University. In 2015, he graduated from the State Key Laboratory of Agricultural Microbiology of Huazhong Agricultural University. During this period, Zunji was engaged in microbial metabolism research at Montana State University in the United States as a state-sponsored joint training of doctoral student. Later, Zunji was engaged in post-doctoral research in microbiome and metabolomics at Central China Normal University and South China University of Technology. Zunji served as a member of the Chinese Society of Microbiology and a director of the Gansu Society of Microbiology. Zunji served as editorial board member of Frontiers in Microbiology, and reviewer of Land Degradation & Development, Chemical Engineering Journal, Frontiers Cellular and Infection Microbiology, Frontiers in Plant Science, Pratacultural Science and Acta Prataculturae Sinica.
