Prof. Chun-Jie Li is the Vice Dean, College of Pastoral Agriculture Science and Technology, Lanzhou University (LZU) of China; Vice Director, State Key Lab of Grassland Agri-ecosystem, China; Director, Centre of Engineering & Research for Grassland Industry, Ministry of Education, China; and Director, Western China R & D Center for Grassland Grassland Industry, Gansu Province, China. He obtained his PhD (2005) in Ecology of Pastoral Plant Pathology in Lanzhou University of China. He has been worked in Gansu Grassland Ecological Institute during 1993-2002, and working in Lanzhou University since 2002. As a visiting scholar, he had been to Barenbrug Research Holland of the Netherlands; the Lab for Biotechnology and Quality Assurance (LBQS), University of Applied Science, Germany; University of Kentucky, Indiana University, Noble Research Institute, USA; Victorian AgriBiosciences Centre (VABC), Australia; AgResearch of New Zealand.
Prof. Li has been elected as the New Century Excellent Talents in University from the Ministry of Education of China (2007), and awarded the 4th Young Science and Technology Prize of China Plant Protection Society (2013). He had received important academic awards and honors, including Vice Director, Young Scientist Commette, China Society of Plant Pathology; Vice Director, Seed Pathology Commette, China Society of Plant Pathology; Vice president, Gansu Society of Plant Protection; Vice Director, Grassland Protection Commette, Grassland Society of China.
Currently prof. Li main research interest concern grass Epichloë /Neotyphodium endophyte, and pastoral plant pathology. He has published over 50 papers in international journals including Scientific Reports, Plant and Soil, Plant Disease, Journal of Hazardous Materials, Weed Research, Frontiers in Microbiology, Fungal Ecology, Mycological Research, Mycologia, Mycotaxon, Microbiological Research, Biochemical Systematics and Ecology, BMC Veterinary Research, Ecological Research, Conservation Genetics, Science China Life Science and so on.
